The Conneaut Foundation supports organizations in Ashtabula County and northwest Pennsylvania through our annual grant cycle.
Each year, annual grants are awarded to area non-profits for their projects and on-going work. Grant recipients must have a 501(c)(3) IRS status and submit an application before the published deadline announced in January of each year.
Additional Grant Opportunities
In partnership with The Ashtabula Foundation, The Conneaut Foundation also supports the Youth Philanthropy Program by providing funding to the Conneaut High School Youth Philanthropy Board. Students, under the direction of advisor Stephanie Chase, offer an annual grant cycle starting in October of each year.
The Conneaut Area Chamber of Commerce Fund of The Conneaut Foundation provides grants to organizations in greater Conneaut area. The grant cycle starts in August of each year.
2018 Annual Grant Cycle Announcment
The Conneaut Foundation Board of Trustees has decided that the Foundation will not be offering a 2018 annual grant cycle. Every year the Foundation Board selects a focus for its annual grant cycle. This year, the Foundation Board has voted to focus on re-evaluating how the Foundation can best bring about positive changes in our community. This year will be spent developing a strategic plan for the future of The Conneaut Foundation.
The Conneaut High School Youth Philanthropy program and the Conneaut Area Chamber of Commerce Fund of The Conneaut Foundation grant cycles will not be affected by this decision, and will continue with their grant cycles for 2018.
